  16. elegant stone, wood and bronze figures depicted such themes
  17. as mother and child and Apache warriors and dancers; in Santa
  18. Fe, New Mexico. In April, Houser, who was awarded the National
  19. Medal of Arts by President Bush in 1992, presented First Lady
  20. Hillary Clinton with May We Have Peace. The bronze sculpture
  21. depicts a man holding a pipe aloft as an offering to the Great
  22. Spirit.
